Tee Nuts

3 & 4 PRONG TEE NUT, ZINC CR+3 (INCH)

Tee nuts are pressed cylindrical nuts with a flat top and sharp prongs jutting 90 degrees down from the flat top and parallel to the cylindrical nut shaft. The cylindrical shaft is threaded internally. A captive nut, the tee nut allows one to put a threaded hole through wood, plywood, composite board, plaster, and other soft materials. The user can hammer the tee nut into a drilled hole in the material, then drill a screw through the threaded tee nut shaft into the material. Applications include furniture leg screw adjusters and internal wall mountings.
